LJ Election Results
Cross-posted from [info]fandom_lounge

No big surprise that [info]legomymalfoy won. There are some rumblings in the comments along with NSFW icons.

It seems that [info]schmuckythecat is determined to be in on any comment that supports [info]legomymalfoy or makes a disparaging remark against [info]jameth. Could provide some entertain over the next few days to be sure.

Post your thoughts on yaoi LJ and the election here.

Can I point and laugh at Jameth's "edgy" macro of how he's the LJ Advisory Board Member in Exile?

You know, I honest to god expected Jameth & co.'s reaction to be a post saying, "Gotcha! Made you froth and care about something meaningless! LULZ!"

I'm still expecting it.

I just.. it's edgy! He's on a bus! It's in exile! Just like Bonnie Prince Charlie!

Now I'm imagining Bonnie Prince Charlie piloting a Rococo bus over the North Sea. Ow.

I got bored last night and was on Wikipedia looking up the currently King Across The Water for the Jacobites. I think he lives in Bavaria and would like those nice Scottish people to stop pestering him.

I kinda feel sorry for the Scots. They're so dedicated! They pretty much deserve some kind of good national monarchy.

Instead, they got the Stuarts.

Finally, this long stream of viscous stupid comes to its merciful end. We can all rest, knowing that we will never again have to combine the general wank predisposition of LJ with the ultimate RL (and now internet) wankfodder of elections.

Yeah RIGHT. Aren't they planning to do this again next year? That means this all this wank, all this incredible idiocy, trolling, and general "Oh god the DUMB" is going to come right back in a year. Lovely.

I don't care that Legomymalfoy won, especially, but I am really glad Jameth lost. He has an awful background, he was only doing it for the lulz (although I would have totally backed a candidate who was doing it for the lulz in a more lighthearted way), he hated fandom, and his wives were really irritating.

So yay for fandom. I don't even care if she won because of all the sockpuppets.

Cosigned. I ended up voting for LMM and the other strongest contenders as a reaction against Jameth's "campaign". Doing it for the lulz has lost all meaning. :/

I've gotten used to calling serious supporters of political candidates "wives". Like "Obamawives" and "Hillarywives". Very similar to fandom use of same.

Yeah. I probably wouldn't have cared much at all if it hadn't been for the incredible stupidity of jameth.

I think this time I'll just stare at the new shiny that is DW and ignore all the fuss.
