02. What is it about Avatar that made you love it? I love the storyline and how it doesn't drag. I love the characters (all of them!) because they're so rich and lovable (well, except Azula). The art is absolutely gorgeous.
03. Who is your favorite character? Aang. He doesn't let his past change who he is; he doesn't let it own him, despite how tragic it was.
04. What are your favorite pairings? Oh, boy. I'm a het and slash fan and my favorite pairings are (in no particular order except the first three!): Aang/Katara, Zuko/Aang, Jet/Zuko, Zuko/Jin, Sokka/Toph, Sokka/Yue, Sokka/Aang...
05. What type of fandom activity to you do (squeeing counts!)? Fanart, fanfics...occasionally I attempt icons? Oh, and SQUEEING, of course. XD

06. What other fandoms are you active in? Gundam Wing, Harry Potter, The Slayers, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy XII, GetBackers, Cardcaptor Sakura...:O

2) The characters, and then the plot, and then...well, I forgot what came next.
3) Sokka and Zuko take turns as being my favorite character, but they're all so well done that I have a hard time not liking characters. I even love to hate Azula...
4) Hmmm...Zuko/Katara, I think.
5) Just squeeing right now, but I intend to write running commentary in my journal as I watch season 3. One day I hope to write fanfic, but I've no plot bunnies...

6) Active in? Well, that eliminates pretty much all the fandoms I pay attention to. I'm active in Prince of Tennis, dabble in Ouran seldomly, and that's about it.

2. It's so. . .wholesome in a progressive kinda way? ^^ The art and character design are lovely, the story's exciting, the characters are unbelievably endearing and sympathetic. . .I could go on. :3
3. Aw, shoot me--I can't help but love Zuko. And Iroh. And Aang and Katara and Sokka and Toph. DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE! /Homer voice
4. I want to roll Aang and Katara into a little ball and squish and cuddle them and call them George, because they are just that cute. (And the whole Katara-catching-Aang-in-her-arms thing at the end of last season was so awesome and romantic in a non-traditional way--My Kind of Het Pairing, indeed. ^^) Toph/Sokka could be very cool as well. Jet/Zuko is made of pretty, and I'm open to being convinced about Mai/Zuko in the coming season (that said in a sadistic sort of way I sort of don't want to ship Zuko with anyone, on account of wanting him to work out or not work out his considerable issues on his own. . .)
5. SQUEE. And then squee some more. (Probably the new season will make me want to draw something for this fandom too, though. ^^)
6. Death Note, Bleach, recently some HP.

1. Online, people tend to call me Foxy or Squid... Hmm, I wonder why?

2. So many things! But I love the character development most of all. And it's an extremely fun and interesting story, set in such a rich universe.

3. This is a very difficult question, as there aren't any characters I don't like. I suppose I have to say Zuko, with Jet a close second. It can change depending on my mood, though. I also love Zhao. A lot.

4. Jet/Zuko, Zhao/Hahn (ha ha), Mai/Zuko, Jet/Katara, Hakoda/Bato, Sokka/Suki. But there are other pairings I quite like or can see the appeal of.

5. I draw fanart and sometimes write fanfiction.

6. Well, I like Star Trek!

02. What is it about Avatar that made you love it? Magic karate, epic feel, impeccable structure, and awesome people being charming.
03. Who is your favorite character? I can never choose! My default answer is something to the effect of AangSokkaTophZukoIroh. P.S. Am v. gay for Mai.
04. What are your favorite pairings? Mai/Zuko!!!! (OTP OMG), Aang/Katara (<3333 epic hearting), Sokka/The Ladies with a special fondness for Toph/Sokka, Jet/Zuko, all permutations of the Dangerous Ladies, and then Mai/Zuko/Jet is my secret OT3 that no one loves but me.
05. What type of fandom activity to you do (squeeing counts!)? Squeeing, capslocking, writing fic, and meta blabbery.

06. What other fandoms are you active in? I'm not really all that active in any other fandoms right now, but close to my heart currently are Dexter, The Office, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pushing Daises (SO WHAT IF IT HASN'T AIRED YET), Heroes, and Big Love.

01. Your name? -- Saffire, though I've adopted Naminé where able. Just do a google search on 'Saffire Raynius' and you'll get every crappy art site I've joined since seventh grade.

02. What is it about Avatar that made you love it? -- The art style is cute, the voices aren't horrendous, it's not wannabe fake anime, and it's got a great character-driven storyline.
03. Who is your favorite character? -- Jeez, that's hard to say. I don't really have a favorite since I'm still kinda new to the series, but I am quickly beginning to love Sokka.
04. What are your favorite pairings? -- Still not sure, but Katara/Jet and Katara/Zuko is interesting. (I also like Katara/Aang for the cute but my friend is in denial.)
05. What type of fandom activity do you do (squeeing counts!)? -- Squee, happygirlarmflail, curling up into a ball... hurting myself in excitement.

06. What other fandoms are you active in? -- Mostly video games. Kingdom Hearts (uh, duh?), Final Fantasy, the Chrono series, a bit of Ouran, some passing Prince of Tennis and Tennimyu, Rave Master, Jak and Daxter, Disney movies. x3 I'm such a kid.

01. Your name? Aurus-kun or just aurus, whichever.

02. What is it about Avatar that made you love it? I got into it because several of my good friends at that college thing plopped me in front of a computer and powered me through the first five or six episodes. I enjoyed it, but wasn't really gripped until I got to the second season. Naturally, I enjoy that Americans can actually make a cartoon that appeals on so many levels to people my age and older, but I think what really gets to me is how really human the characters are. Despite all the fantasy involved, everyone seems very real, with real feelings and desires that I can empathize with, and that's a big part of why I'm invested in finding out what happens.
03. Who is your favorite character? Iroh is number one! I want to be him when I grow up. Also, I really like Zuko because he's a really good reluctant villain, even if he is an angstbucket sometimes, and I love Suki because, holy crap, they gave her romantic moments without making her into a wibbly teenage girl! Thank goodness. Toph is also up there, and Sokka's wit slays me.
04. What are your favorite pairings? I admit I'm kind of a sucker for canon pairings, since I trust the creators to know these things. XD Sokka/Suki is at the top of the list (though I bet they'd fight for dominance a lot). I'm really becoming enticed by Zuko/Katara for a lot of reasons, though I'm not ready to call it a go just yet. This is one of my only fandoms with no big slash pairing as a favorite, but I do suspect that Jet had a thing for Zuko.
05. What type of fandom activity to you do (squeeing counts!)? Mostly, long discussions with friends about why certain pairings wouldn't work, and about what's in store for the future, and about the potential for great shenanegans if Zuko and Katara were to hook up. I enjoy looking at fanart, though I don't draw any myself. I've been wanting to read some fanfic, but the sheer volume of it frightens me. XD

06. What other fandoms are you active in? If by "active" we continue saying that squeeing counts, then several.. House MD is my current big obsession, but I have a lot (largely anime/manga) on the fringes of my mind. I don't really participate in them unless I'm hanging out with other people and we get to talking about them. Some of my "fringe" fandoms are Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, the Enchanted Forest Chronicles, Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing... I'm in the process of reading the Earthsea Cycle and the Death Gate Cycle... the interests list on my profile is more comprehensive, I swear. *sheepish*
