Don't feel bad about liking to read about the misdeeds. I do too. I like finding out where the bodies are buried and who buried them here. I think HP having a much younger crowd and starting out as an Internet based fandom may be the worst of the bunch but I have heard Xfiles brought it's share of wank and Buffy from what I understand has some longstanding grudgewank to the point that TPTB had to get involved. HP is just a huge phenomonom on the Internet that you can't swing a dead cat and not hit wank somewhere. I just hope whatever fandom replaces it as teh next big one doesn't have the wank this one does. I like having fandom in my life but this fandom is wearing me out.
