Of course, if you are going include the page number you have to include the publisher and edition. Clearly indicating which material isn't yours is the more important part, IMO.

Pretty much my point. I just inculded what I usually see in citations. It usually doesn't matter in poetry or for old plays like Shakespeare as long as the line number (or the range of numbers) is included.
