Well done to her. The more I read about this, the more I think the way early HP fandom was constructed made something like this inevitable. Not necessarily plagiarism, but some massive faux pas had to happen. They were so isolated & insular from the rest of fandom, they had to make up their own rules for how fanfic was done.
