Heidi left on her own. Phoenix Rising was still investigating the plagiarism issue as of yesterday, and I was speaking to Heidi as part of the resolution of that. I mentioned the negative attention that we'd received, including the death threats, and Heidi decided that she wanted to step down. I accepted her resignation and we left it at that. This is actually the first time we've talked to anyone outside our staff about the contents of the threats, but I understand people's concern -- and I'm really glad you guys turned anonymous posting back on so I can clear some of this up.

Do you mind if I pass your e-mail addresses on to the authorities? I don't know if their investigation will go anywhere, but we've turned the entire investigation over to them, since they're much more qualified to handle it than we are.
