Revisiting the Ki Sanctuary
After digging around the FW archive for a bit, I've noticed that the Ki Sanctuary wank has been removed..or I am just not noticing it, but its hard not to notice when there are a lot of comments. It was back in August/September of 2005, I believe and it could have been removed because one of the parties that was involved (I am speculating here), however Chrono was 17 1/2 or 18 at the time.

It was one of the first wanks I followed back in my early days, so I am sad to see it taken down. Unable to find the wank as I am, this is mainly from my own memory and from the links I can provide.

Long story made short- Kevin, also known by his online alias “Chrono,” is the owner of the Ki Sanctuarywhich is a site dedicated to martial arts, astral projection, and teaching people to use ki techniques. By ki techniques, the site means the techniques used in a very popular anime- Dragon Ball Z. Not only that, but I remember the old header for the site having something to do with having a “Christian perspective." After the incident in question, Chrono put up an FAQ/About section using the Bible to defend himself and his beliefs and I also think he mentioned speaking to the Lord in his journal. And I don't mean the speaking you do in prayer or on a church pew. He thought he was actually talking to Jesus.

That, of coarse, is batshit in and of itself. But compile that with RPing with a girl (Yuki) and falling in love with her fan-created Sonic the Hedgehog character (Kat), then when the creator tells Chrono she wants nothing to do with him because he became a bit too involved and started sharing his ideas on Kat being on the astral plane, she tells him to leave her alone. Chrono then steals said character and marries her on the Astral Plane and it gets worse. There is also an astral Wal-mart as well as FF7 characters (before Kat he was banging Aeris on the astral plane), werewolves, and other “beings” into one corn-o-crapia of insanity that is Chrono’s make believe world.

Two months went by since Yuki originally warned him and after being repeatedly told not to use Kat in his forum posts, deviant art, and rping (as well as being Kat being threatened by Chrono’s cronies), it finally was enough for the victim. Fed up, Yuki then posted links on her journal about the whole affair, documenting the evidence, as well as posting the personal and very scary journals of Chrono. Chrono shows up as a troll, but is found out and the whole thing became one big mess.

Not only did the little affair make fandom_wank (here's the wank report by faultypremise and the wiki), but Portal of Evil and Something Awful. In fact, it was the second time the site was featured on Bullshido. However, the links on Portal of Evil are still up and running so excerpts can be found there.

Whether Chrono really destroyed his computer (see the links on the PoE- apparantly I can't direct link to the threads), this wanka does not know, but some of the posters do seem to be the same as from when this wank happened (Yamesk and ShenAugdra).

So, am I pretty dead on as to why this wank is bahleeted?

	The wiki was down last night. How the hell did I miss that? I went through the whole archive of 2005-2006 posts and I guess since I was skimming for ones with lots of comments, it just went under my radar. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Okay, I was going through the links, one of which had the old link to Chrono's Website. It's apparently an IT sort of thing now and includes the following statements-

The original Ki Sanctuary was a website designed to decieve people over the use and functions of radical ki, or radki. The techniques were extremely dangerous and many person(s) got hurt. However, the website has since come under eExecs control and now this site is a place for eMarketeers and ebiz people and IT professionals and amateurs to peruse and use the tools given.

Generally, we want to market this site out for trad chi and rev qi practitioners to use to manage their businesses and/or monetary ability to continue to debunk the radki community. There are, however inaccessible, tools which radki people may use to bash trad and rev ki people back -- such as legal texts and lawsuit tutorials.This site was designed with the purpose of both promoting biz skills on the internet as well as promoting good health and a world free of superstition and delusion of the radki type.

Huh.

	How funny. It still isn't the first time he's tried to justify him self through "internet legality" though. If you look at the PoE, you can find the Ki Sanctuary constitution. (Reply to this)(Parent)
