msscribe has posted a public apology at her LJ.

... Man, she really should have taken a cue from AngieJ's apology, eh.

Reminder: troll her, and I will wield my sparkly pink dildo of justice. That's a threat, and not an offer, people.

ETA: There's a mouse out there whose pet obviously out-ran them before they could perform nefarious deeds on Fluffy who clearly knows the ultimate truthiness of this situation and I would be a bad, bad person indeed if I were to hinder this particular truth.

So this is an open invitation to mousie to get themselves a JF account (or perhaps just use [info]karmabitch, amirite?) and to post up the TRUFAX of what really happened. I am sitting on the edge of my chair absolutely excited to hear this.

You people are like a bunch of old ladies in a sewing circle, commenting and snickering at everyone else in fandom. MsScribe has acknowledged she has acted wrongly, apologized, made amends and showed her generosity by donating to those less fortunate than her. Yet you still condemn her. Are you the friggin\' fandom police? I mean who (outside your holier-than-thou little clique) cares? All that stuff happened years ago, its water under the bridge. Just. Let. It. Go.

MsScribe’s supporters know what really happened and can see through your grudge induced obfuscation and snark. I believe she will rise up and shake off this fandom hatchet job perpetrated by Agua Charlotte Lennox and the rest of her hangers on. It\'s only a matter of time.

...And why are you guys always bringing Heidi into this? She had nothing to do with it. You seem determined to cut down anyone who is prominent and excels themselves in fandom.

That's the point. She did not really apologize. Reading this, I don't get the feeling that she's really, honestly, truly sorry. It's nice that she's being generous, but why does she need to point this out? In this context, it seems that she only wrote it to gain some sympathy. Same with mentioning her personal problems: she's trying to justify her actions, which simply doesn't belong into an honest apology.

And why are you guys always bringing Heidi into this?

Actually, MsScribe herself mentioned Heidi. She brought her in.

*snort* Fanpoodle you called this shit SO FUCKING well.

You aren’t challenging the truth – you’re spinning plausible denial for your supporters, and dirtying up Charlotte’s story for the neutrals.

It doesn't have to be true - it has to be plausible. Because if you want to believe, you'll take the half truths on faith and forget the rest.

Glad you believe mousie!

All that stuff happened years ago, its water under the bridge. Just. Let. It. Go.

Oh shut up. I'm so fucking tired of people saying "It was years ago! Let it go!" Who are you to tell GT and others that they didn't have a right for their names to be cleared? It doesn't matter if it happened years ago or two weeks ago, GT's names have been in the mud for years because of her lies and the truth is now out so save it.

And why are you guys always bringing Heidi into this? She had nothing to do with it. You seem determined to cut down anyone who is prominent and excels themselves in fandom.

Uh...she mentioned Heidi(and Cassie for that matter) so talk to her, oh fan of msscribe.

MsScribe has acknowledged she has acted wrongly, apologized, made amends and showed her generosity by donating to those less fortunate than her.

Except she didn't, you know, actually apologize.

All that stuff happened years ago, its water under the bridge. Just. Let. It. Go.

Why the hell do you care so much? Further more, who the hell are you to care so much? I post here because quite frankly I like poking fun at the stupidity of other people. You, however, seem to be taking this far more personally. If you were someone with a JF account who's been following this saga, or an anonymouse who signs his/her posts, I might take stock in the idea that you're very much genuinely sick of seeing all the Ms. Scribe postings. However, seeing as you're an unsigned anonymouse, you're just another toy to play with. Meow.

MsScribe’s supporters know what really happened and can see through your grudge induced obfuscation and snark.

Ms. Scribe's supporters either don't know what happened or know what happened and don't care. We only care insofar as much as it amuses us.

I believe she will rise up and shake off this fandom hatchet job perpetrated by Agua Charlotte Lennox and the rest of her hangers on.

If you're going to accuse Charlotte of being someone, can you at least spell the name right? You Your idol Ms. Scribe took the time to generously thank Charlotte for getting hers right, after all.

...And why are you guys always bringing Heidi into this? She had nothing to do with it. You seem determined to cut down anyone who is prominent and excels themselves in fandom.

First of all, Ms. Scribe was the one who brought Heidi up, which you should know since you've probably written read the apology. Secondly, there's no doubt that Heidi is prominent, but I would definitely refrain from referring to her as "excelling in fandom."

Aren't you adorable, mousie. Go play in an acid-coated mousetap for your cheese.

Yo, Msscribe/Clarabella/HeidiPatrol! (IP check, mods? Things got really confusing last round) You're really frickin' cute. This is more a cocktail party than a sewing circle. We're much hipper than that.

It's amazing how you think that msscribe was so sincere in her apology when she didn't even apologize for anything at all or even read C_L's report or explicitly list the things she apologized for doing. Just a general "oh, I'm sorry for being such a tease" doesn't cut as an apology. It's equivical to a child saying they are sorry for pushing another in the dirt, even though they really aren't. Also, years and years ago doesn't mean the hurt is gone for everyone involved (However, I have merely been a belated spectator, but I have taken note that some people are still angry). She may have apologized to her friends in private, but what about everyone else? This is not an apology. This is a poor attempt for her to try and save face.

Maybe if Heidi would actually write an apology without passing it off on a third party or circumstances, we'd take her seriously. Probably not, but its worth a try.

Ya know I can't have any respect for an anon who is posting using an anonymiser service. Just can't. Mouse you need to know that's one strike already. Your shrill tone and yes I can almost hear that tone is strike two. The third strike is your bringing up Heidi. There are other big name fans in the fandom, but none are as wanky as Heidi, Cassandra Claire and their crew of minions. So which are you? Heidi, CC, MsScribe or someone else who has a major investment in clearing their names? Because guess what? They DID all of this to themselves. The Internet has long memories and everything eventually comes right back at you.

Well, duh. Didn't you know this is the Ladies' Sewing and Schadenfreude Club?

Look, she didn't apologize for half of what she did wrong, which makes it a fapology. And it's not personal for, um, probably at least 80% of the people following this drama - I don't even like HP, but I do like a good drama and it's nice to see someone get a well-deserved throttling, even years after it should have happened.

CERTAIN PEOPLE (*cough*MsScribe sockpuppets and minions*cough*) like to act as if this is all a big grudge and it's not true. Okay, then - prove it. Provide the case file number. Provide other solid proof. Because the reason people believe Charlotte isn't because we're all in Angua's pocket, it's because she backed shit up with evidence.

If she's not the wretch Charlotte made her out to be, guess what: it shouldn't be too hard to prove. The fact that no one has done so suggests pretty strongly that MsScribe really is exactly the stonecold vile bitch that Charlotte suggests she is.

oh, *yawn*. you think you're So Spechul And Unique to tell us that we're all the Mean Bitches That Are Just Jelus? Get in line, mousie; that's the first defense of the liars and the truly wanky.

Like others here, this isn't water under the bridge. People were truly hurt by MsScribe's behavior - not to mention the dispicable RL things she said and did during CharityGate - and, as with Cassie and plagiarism and Heidi and whiparounds for BFFs only - *you* and *they* don't get to decide when "bygones should be bygones". Fandom gets to decide that - meaning this will be discussed and rehashed for as long as there is interest. Tough shit.

So MsScribe decided that Sapphsmum was true after all? Yay her. How long ago was CharityGate? A year? 18 months? *NOW* she decides to donate? And - *gasp* what a coincidence! - publically announces it? I'm SO impressed! Except where, ya know, I'm not. *IF* she did it (that's what happens when one has a track record of being a liar ya know), it was done simply as a "lookitme" gesture. If she cared, she would have done it quietly. And maybe not immediately after proof of her actions hit fandom full in the face. So don't trot out to me how this is "proof" she's a good kind woman. This is PROOF she's a manipulative bitch that wants to clear her image without actually admitting or apologizing for what she's done in the past.

As others have said, it's as though MsScribe read fanpoodles Karl Rove post and took it to heart. Isn't that *amazing*???? Since we know she doesn't ever read here. OF COURSE SHE DOESN"T

Please don't expect me to cry crocodile tears for either Heidi or MsScribe. And please don't expect me to cut them any benefit for their horrid behavior because of "personal issues". That's a load of crap. I didn't see either of them cutting Sapp a break when her mom was struggling with a health crisis - and I doubt very much if either of them would bat an eye at anyone else'd crisis. Unless that 'someone' was one of their BFF. *Then* we do a whiparound of course!

Heidi, Cassie, MsScribe and their ilk enjoyed and used the privileges of being BNF. Now it's been proved that Heidi and Cassie got their fame by ripping peope off and MsScribe got hers by creating her own drama. They don't like this publicity? Tough.

"acknowledged she has acted wrongly, apologized, made amends" - where?

I read in another thread that she has apologised personally to the lady hurt in Charitywank. I appreciate it, and it was a MUST for her. But: I would have appreciated it even more if she had stated in her post that she had done so personally BUT HAD NOT MENTIONED THAT DONATION. There are some things money can't buy, and forgiveness or even personal integrity is one of them. Her fanpoodles will be greatly impressed by her kindness, but the rest of us not so much.
