What is more, I think that Heidi is directly responsible for Cassandra Claire's bad reputation in some areas of the fandom -
I agree--and it's not just the plagiarism. It seems to be a consistent pattern: it's Heidi who still tries to rewrite the plagiarism, and the bullying on that front is frankly more off-putting than the plagiarism itself; it's Heidi who did the "whip-rounds" for various electronic goods; it's Heidi who sparked CharityGate, and then--somebody correct me if I'm wrong-- it was Msscribe, using her "light_music" account, who trolled Christina's journal.
With friends like those, Cassie hasn't ever needed to make her own enemies.
