| About: | Have you ever read a fanfic that was so bad, in so many ways, yet you loved it despite yourself? Have you ever inflicted said fanfic upon a group of your friends, and gone on to use quotes, passages, and character quirks as twisted injokes for everyone to laugh at? Then you may just have found a home at "Oh That Funny Badfic!" Here, we review "good" badfic, share anecdotes about the discovery of badfic, share jokes about our favourite badfic cliches, recommend badfic for the sick enjoyment of everyone, and eat pie. The twist is, we do this as fans, not as "avengers". While there are many communities in the blogging world dedicated to bitching about bad fanfiction (in fact, you may see familiar faces from this community in some of them), "Oh That Funny Badfic!" is not one of them. Here are the basic community rules (don't worry, there aren't many): - You must be at least 18 in order to own a JournalFen account or to browse communities on JournalFen. - LJ/JF Cuts are not mandatory, but they're strongly encouraged. - Try to be informative and/or humourous in your posts. Be creative! Chances are, we won't even know if you lie. ;) - Please remember that one person's badfic could be another person's favourite. Therefore, not only should you make an effort to explain just why you found a fic to be so humourously bad, you should also respect the opinions of your fellow poster. - If you are an author and you find that one of your fics has been mentioned here, please understand that we think no less of you as a person... we just think your fanfiction is funny. - Links to badfic are one thing, but unless they have some critical importance to a post, AND the owner is not a minor, leave the blogs out of it. - All fandoms and all fanfics are welcome! - We can swear and be raunchy on JF, but make sure you're goddamn fucking cunt bitch coherent if you must fucking swear, bitches!
