| About: | This is an offshoot community for the RPG ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/community.gif){kind=small} citadel.It is devoted to any writing pertaining to the possible history of Citadel, the organization, and the celebrities / historical figures who could have comprised its membership. Nothing in this community will form canon for the game. If you want to write backstory for your pup, post it in their game journal. If you want to experiment with an existing pup (see guideline 9) or want to play with a dead celeb, this is the place. Guidelines: 1. Co-written logs, solo pieces, vignettes, etc, are all welcome. 2. Posts must include a header. Headers must include: Person or Pairing, Year, Location, Warnings (if applicable) and Summary (especially anything we need to know to "get" your piece). If you are writing an arc or a series of posts, please feel free to add a title as well. 3. Please LJ-CUT when posting. 4. Please use a beta or revise carefully. 5. Anyone can friend the community and comment. Only members can post. 6. Feedback is welcome and encouraged. Unlike in the game itself, it may be made directly in response to the posts. 7. The Citadel Code of Conduct applies to this community. 8. Please post from your mun journal or from a pup journal (using it as a mun journal). 9. Fic posts may NOT involve current Citadel pups unless you play them in game. Otherwise, all celebs / historical figures are fair game (including current NPCs) and may be written by as many writers and played in as many different ways as possible. 10. Celebs / historical figures may only be written with their contemporaries. No writing Napoleon with Marilyn Monroe. 11. No writing of any history past 1985. The general idea here is that originally people wanted the chance to write dead pups. Limiting history to pre-1985 discounts a huge number of current pups and makes the "no writing of current pups" rule easier to remember. 12. Once again, the fic in this community will not form a rigid history for Citadel. It is not game canon. Instead, it will present a multitude of versions for how things "could have" been in order to allow for the greatest amount of creativity and enjoyment possible. 11. Citadel was "officially" founded in 1856. In reality, it is much older than that. Feel free to explore just how much older and how it might have began. If you are exploring its history prior to 1856 and decide to ignore SSC tenets, please be sure to give appropriate warnings and some general idea of the circumstances surrounding your piece.
