Shirohane is a somewhat well-known author in the Naruto fandom, who is famous mostly for his AU shouta furry SasuNaru porn. A lot of people like his fanfiction, some other people don't, but so far no fuss, right?

Well, trouble starts when Shirohane posts a notice in his journal. It's long, but here's a sample of his rant, originally posted in large, bolded, bright red font:



SasUKE jokes NOT appreciated. I'll bite your head off if you joke about that. IT ISN'T FUNNY. Sasuke is spelled 「サスケ」or possibly 「佐助」。So it's spelled as Sa. Su. Ke. I understand there is the word 'uke' in his name if written in romaji, but Sasuke is Japanese boy and romaji doesn't count. Not to mention, does that mean every male who has 'suke' in his name is uke or something? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of in my life. If you make such jokes, I'll assume you're an ignorant American, not to mention someone who lacks half a brain. DON'T JOKE ABOUT IT.
I WILL ATTACK YOU IF YOU MENTION NARUSASU OR SASUKE-UKE OR SAKURA THE PINK ROACH ANYWHERE HERE. DON'T DO IT UNLESS YOU'RE SERIOUSLY PICKING A FIGHT WITH ME.

Most of Shirohane's fans agree with him. Sakura is an evil pink roach, and Sasuke is always seme. Things in SasuNaruland are all love hearts and fluffy rape scenes.

The trouble starts when some people who don't agree with his assessment of the characters start spamming his post with comments. Sadly, all the comments have been screened/deleted, so I don't have links or screencaps; but from what I saw, people were posting questions and counter-rants, posting pictures of Sakura and SakuSasu, and patting each other on the back.

Shirohane does not take this well.


I am thinking of taking a legal action against people who have been flooding my livejournal account with degoratory remarks. This is beyond being immature and insensitive. This is downright threat, slander and harrassment (including sexual harrassment, since they forced me to see pornographic images I did not wish to see). I have even been threatened with death, which is a serious criminal offense. I talked to my uncle (who is a lawyer) and he agreed that I have a plausible case to take up a civil lawsuit.

I have screenshots of all comments and screen names, as well as IP addresses. I visited my doctor and had my blood pressure, heart rate, and weight measured. My blood pressure is higher than it had been in the last two years, my heart rate is unhealthily high, and I have lost five pounds since Tuesday morning. I have also talked to a psychologist. He told me that yes, I am mildly depressed. I have been emotionally traumatized and sexually abused (yes, showing unwilling person pornography is considered sexual abuse). I'm sure most of people who attacked me are around my little sister's age. Do you want me to ruin your life? Do you want criminal record attached to your name for rest of your life just for few hours of fun at my expense? Do you want your future colleges and workplaces to see in your resume that you are a criminal?


Yes, Shirohane lost five pounds in one day, and now he's taking legal action.

So far, I haven't seen a great wanky response, which is why this is in Clairvoyant. If anybody thinks it's wanky enough to go to F_W already, you're welcome to post it.
