Supernatural Wank: "Bad Fans" vs. "Good Fans" at it again...
So, for those unfamiliar with the Supernatural fandom and namely those posters on the community supernatural_tv on Livejournal:

A Little Background (if you're curious):

There is a bit of a teensy war going on between those who have labeled themselves as "Good Fans" and the people they have labeled as "Bad Fans." In reaction to those meanie Bad Fans, the Good Fans made their own little community away from supernatural_tv (the humongous monster of a general Supernatural community). In retaliation, the Bad Fans created their own to piss off the Good Fans, spnbadfan. (I have lost the link to the Good Fan community, if you know it, please link me to it!)

Wank on the Horizon:

A lot of this general wanking has been due to casting rumors and spoilers of the show. Recently, spoiler pics for one of the new characters was posted. The general "yay!" "meh" "ugh" reactions ensue, until aphrodite33 has just had enough with all these complaining bad fans!

It's small... at the moment. I'm thinking if a few more commenters pop up it'll be ripe enough for the main wank. Though I'm nervous about posting, since this seems like just a long continuation of an older wank. O.O

Note: My Livejournal username does pop up on that post, but not in this discussion. I'm not part of the wank. One of the wankas is on my friends list, but she did not point me to the wank, I found it on my own. I don't know aphrodite33, I just find her wank amusing. No grudge wanks intended.

The point of the show is that two brothers drive around the country, killing evil supernatural things.

Oh, good. I thought I missed some deeper meaning.

And to add to your rant a bit. I mean, they have to bring in some new characters, female or male. Sam and Dean’s world is broadening, there’s a whole heard of hunters out there, apparently, and we have to meet some of them, it’s a logical continuation of that plotline.

I would like to know what would’ve been the fandom’s reaction if there was a new male character; let’s say he’s played by...Chad. And he just barges into the show like a total Stu.
Would the fandom be: yay or nay?

	...so we hateses the Chad, so I started thinking what other male actor I'd love to see on the show. And immediately my mind went to Reed Diamond as a Kellerman-esque kinda hunter.
