You know about the Twilight series, right? If not, to extremely summarize: it's a YA novel about a girl and her sparkly* vampire boyfriend and other such stuff. It has managed to gain a huge fan following and when rumors about a movie started circulating sometime last year, the usual fan casting began, which lead to a squillion icons of Emily Browning and Gaspard Ulliel as main characters Bella and Edward being made.

About a month ago (give or take), Bella got cast, and she ain't Emily Browning. There was outrage, but nothing too big.

Just today, Edward has been cast, and the ONTD post alone has maxed out comments. It's bound to get bigger sooner. I can feel it.
