PET IS EATING THE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS!! HOW CAN THIS BE????
PetVille is the latest of Zynga's in-browser time-wasting typically cute Flash games (also responsible for Mafia Wars, FarmVille and CafeWorld to name a few) and like the rest it is in the beta phase of its life. If I'm not mistaken the game isn't much over a week old.

Some of us who dip our feet into the ever-changing and sometimes glitchy waters of beta games understand what we're getting ourselves into.

Some, like CherieS on the official forums (which anyone can view), have different reactions when things don't go the way they want:

I started playing this game HOURS after it was released... I was a VERY HIGH level... Now when I feed my pet ANY TREAT or even another pet... I get NO COINS AT ALL! When I was getting coins, I could log out of game go back in later... my coins are gone and many times... more coins than I had BEFORE going in the first time to give a treat are gone meaning for example I had 400 coins fed some treats coins went up and I left out of the game. Went back into the game like 30 mins later and only had 300 coins!! HOW CAN THIS BE???? Im getttting RIPPED OFF out of coins and POINTS!!!

Her initial post also ends with:

The reaction to her thread starter is calm, some other members express similar game glitches, and others still remind her that the game is in its' early beta phase.


Im terribly sorry....I play MANY ZYNGA GAMES... and MIND you I have spent a TON OF REAL MONEY in those other games!!!

It was VERY EARLY / LATE when I posted this... let me 'REFRAISE' what I was TRYING to say about SHUTTING IT DOWN!! I mean... have 'down' time to FIX the errors and problems! MANY other apps on FB do this and even give us WARNING when they are going to do so! Another words... they announce AHEAD of time a DATE and TIME and WHY the game will be UNAVAILABLE!! MANY of the games on FB are growing SO RAPIDLY that other games are having to update thier servers and also ON TOP OF IT with repairing issues!!

ZYNGA games in my opinion are fun.... BUT for some reason.... the LACK in repairing issues that are constantly being reported by so many. Zynga is making TONS OF MONEY.... CRAP... do you want to know how much I spent from Oct - Nov on PIXELS?? Im just saying.... I feel there is NOT enough support and they are way to slow with results!!

HHMMMMM PET SOCIETY is loooooking MIGHTY better for me!! AT least when i contact them... they are on TOP of it and have replied to me!! I have reported this issue and others MORE than TWO DAYS AGO!!

I just think with so many players and the money they are making FROM US to SUPPORT these games we should have BETTER SERVICE.. better CUSTOMER service and feedback!! IF they are aware of these issues.... which we all know they are! WHY not add a note like MANY other games at the top of the game page when you go there that they ARE aware of issues and are working on them... what the estimated time they think will be.

I FIND it VERY unfair... I have 1800+ FB friends.. I started playing this game just a few hours AFTER it came out. I was one of the HIGHEST levels out of all my friends.. Im now MAJORLY slipping behind due to not being able to earn coins except from daily neighbor visits.. cleaning up trash which is LIMITED and I dont agree with along with washing OTHER pets... why is there a CAP on how many we can do per day? I earn coins from feeding and washing my pet.. THATS IT!! The TREATS play a MAJOR ROLE in this game and YES ARE NEEEDED... even to RANK!!!

Im tired of hearing its in BETA!! YEA??? LOOOOK at all the problems in FARMVILLE.... those problems went on for weeeks / months... BUT YET they kept bringing out almost daily NEW free items to gift etc.... Priorities are not in the correct area in my opinion. If they want us to keep supporting the game.... they really should LISTEN and show ACTION to the games!
