Oh gee.

I don't give a shit if they banned him or not they can do what they want. And if you'll look, not everyone disagreed with him and most barely challenged him. It's not a huge deal, I'm not saying it is, but it still makes me think and I'm not going to shut up and play nicely just because it hurts their image of themselves to hear that anything they've done could possibly be construed as negative or God forbid, racist.

What about the black joke on there? Was that appropriate? If you think so, that's your right to do so, but I don't. Call me a sensitive negro again but white people making black jokes ain't cool with me.

And here I thought we all told the mouse where to go and I deleted his attempts at icon-making.

The 'doesn/'t' anon in the wank bragged about trolling on

light_music's journal and 'offering' her an icon, that was in fact offensive racist shit (as opposed to the one that started the whole noise). With a caption like 'oversensitive negro' or something like that.

narcissam deleted that comment (and that surprised me somewhat, because deleting comments is normally a big NONO on F_W, but yeah, in this particular case? I'm over here, not objecting. And by 'not objecting' I mean 'marry me, narcissam!')

Anyway, that and the replies to the other comments of the miserable '/ anon means apparently tacitly approving in

light_music's book, so there's that.

If I got that wrong, correct me someone please.

Thanks for the explanation - I was wondering what I'd missed. I can't figure out what the backslashes in that anon's comments were for. But then, I can't figure out why it couldn't figure out when it was being made fun of, either... I don't remember a single person welcoming that particular anon with open arms instead of disgust, but I wasn't reading all that carefully by that point... too much rage. I guess some people's heads are lodged so far up that they think other people also like being surrounded by their shit.

And, yeah. Deleting in a comm is usually a bad thing, but sometimes it's the best thing to do, because, ew.

I think I replied three times to that anon, and that's a lot by my standards nowadays. Not strong with the troll-hunting anymore.

And yeah, all I did was condescend some, but then again, if that's not good enough for

light_music she can bite me. Even if we pretend that righteous indignation would help against trolls, we get them far too often to muster it each and every fucking time they show up.

And I haven't seen any nice attitudes toward this anon either, but maybe if

light_music borrows me her goggles of rage or, you know, if she simply posts a link to such a friendly reply, the task would become much easier.

Well, imagery remains a matter of taste and while my taste is okay with deleting this one, it's not a good reason to do it.
However, the overtly bragging about trolling attempts in a community that needs to fight mean to enforce it's no-trolling policy?
Looks like an excellent reason for a deletion to me.

Then again, I'm no mod. All mods are evil oppressors. But some of my best friends are mods, so that's okay. ^_^

	It doesn't help that she keeps pointing randomly at new sources of offense as she rapidly runs out of arguments for the ones she was determined to be offended about in the first place.
