| Dear Fox, how do I hate thee? |
[15 Nov 2005|06:35pm] |
Let me count the ways:
Fox said Thursday that it will pull "Arrested Development" and "Kitchen Confidential" off the schedule for the remaining three Mondays of the November sweep, replacing them with a rerun of the previous episode of "Prison Break" leading into an original episode of the serialized drama.
"Arrested" and "Kitchen" are set to return to their time slots with original episodes December 5, following the fall finale of "Prison Break" on November 28.
This is why you can never have nice things.

| New Wiseguy Fic |
[20 Jan 2005|07:41pm] |
|
In case anyone else missed this till now, Rachael Sabotini pinch-hit a yummy Yuletide Sonny/Vinnie story: Always With You. Wiseguy fic is just too damn rare. (I remember a story wherein the S/V is found out and Sonny is ordered to whack Vinnie. He does so. But he also kills the one responsible for the order and then himself. ::angsty bliss:: Can't remember the name; used to be on the web, now isn't.)
Speaking of bliss, does anyone know where I can get the *real* Steelgrave Arc ending? The Nights in White Satin one? ::eternally bitter about the cheapskate DVD version:: I've seen some people offer it, but not to me, and I hate to barge unasked into a (relative) stranger's email demanding begging goodies.

Attention UK Crusade fans! The Sci-fi channel is showing Crusade at 9pm on Wednesdays. If you missed the pilot, it's repeated on Sunday.
BTW, they've also been showing Tracker weekdays at 5pm, anyone know of any Tracker fanfic? The possibilities for kinky alien sex are endless.
Oh, and since I'm here anyway... I've been looking for due South vids. Other than 'Istanbul' I've come up empty. Help?

Well, another good show on Fox bites the dust. Well, I think it was going to be a good show. I find it a bit hard to tell after four episodes. Not so, Fox executives apparently.

| "Mr. Wilson has really become the stoner's version of James Garner" |
[05 Mar 2004|11:21am] |
All that's missing from the flaky fun is an announcement over the film's end credits: "Tonight, on 'The Love Boat' . . ."
Oh, God, how cool would that be?
Um, the New York Times reviews Starsky and Hutch. Unlike much of the movie's coverage, this one is written by someone who seems to know and love/hate the original series:

Just a heads up that there's been talk of B5 coming back in series form. Last rumor I heard talks of SC-fi picking up and buying more shows of B5: Crusade

New here ... wandered over from LJ to express my fannish impulses. My major weakness is TV shows that were Too Good To Last, those shows that were a little too smart, perhaps a little too dark to ever get any decent ratings. Profit, EZ Streets, Vengeance Unlimited ... and yes, I'm also a due South whore. More later folks.

| Go Farscape! |
[20 Nov 2003|01:04pm] |
|
Well, it seems as if Farscape isn't quite as dead as the rest of the shows we see here. The rumours of its return are no longer rumours, as it's now been confirmed that filming will start in December for a four-hour mini-series to tie up the loose ends. Both Claudia Black and Ben Browder have signed up, so WOOHOO!
