Wonderfalls, we hardly knew ye...
Well, another good show on Fox bites the dust. Well, I think it was going to be a good show. I find it a bit hard to tell after four episodes. Not so, Fox executives apparently.

Wow, that was fast. And I'd heard good things about the pilot too. I'll probably have to wait until the UK Sci-fi channel buys it cheap to see for myself though.

Yeah, I was looking forward to it. With the immanent demise of Angel, I'd already begun looking for shows to fill the void. I thought this might be it, but apparently it was not to be. I wouldn't hold your breath on it appearing on UK tv despite Tim Minear's optimism *koff www.suprnova.org *. I don't know htf they expect a show to build an audience at the end of the season in four episodes. In fact, I don't know why the fuck Fox bothers paying for shows that they have no interest in at all. Shit, it took me about eight episodes to get into Firefly and I think used to think Joss was teh shit.

What? But I just put it on my 'has loads of potential, should probably be watching this on a regular basis' list.

With lines like "Defy the chicken!" how could I not?

I just finished watching that (sadly last) episode! I know! I really thought it had legs. But, obviously on my own there *resists urge to go into huge rant about 'can you imagine if they'd cancelled Twin Pinks after four fucking episodes?!'*

Why, no-one would have understood what was going on at all! Oh hang on 8)

Actually, it might have been a good thing, as I would never have seen Killer Bob, a character I am still afeared of.

The one with the minstrel make-up is Papa Lazarou, a character from a disturbing british comedy called 'The League of Gentlemen'.

The smarmy looking fellow is british Tory politician Michael Portillo (or, when he's trying to capture minority votes "Miguel Porteeeeyo").

They both frighten me rather a lot for one reason or another.
