Is OATT talking about the fandom for ACD's Sherlock Holmes, the original stories, or the Moffat version, or Jude Law, or the whole thing under one umbrella, or what?
There is significant overlap. I'm involved with all of them. (Canon ACD is my favorite by far, though.)
OT, but I've been on your tumblr and I love your Who posts. In "Smith and Jones" the moment I fell in love with Martha was when she told her coworker who was freaking out about her opening a window that the hospital wasn't airtight and since they could all still breathe just fine something else must be keeping the air in. With all that going on she still kept her head enough to think like that? Awesome. The Hogwarts sorting one was also great, and I can't really disagree with any of them. There's so much companion hate, probably because so many of them are women. It makes me sad. |
