The 2009 Halloween egg ("This egg smells like the autumn harvest"):
Vampire eggs (existing vampires can bite eggs that have over 3 days left on them and possibly turn them into vampires. The options are there also that the egg will just die, or that your other dragons will "become repulsed" by the egg and toss it away, then it ends up on the Abandoned page. TJ has apparently said that the bite action is here to stay too, so if you don't get one now, just remember that every four weeks, vampires can bite, so you'll get your chance. Also, apparently bitten eggs that died WILL coun against your limit for a day, so exercise caution.)
We can also make Zombies this year! You have to kill an adult or hatchling, and it doesn't always work (three tombstones on my scroll prove that... and some of them can be quite tricksy about being stabbed at all. There was a Daydream dragon that I tried 30 times to kill and it kept "avoiding my blade." I finally kicked it back to the AP and tried a different one.) It goes without saying that trying to zombify dragons counts against your 5 kills limit. But apparently TJ likes mass carnage, so I don't know.
