If you're looking for ideas on who to play, try one of these!Revised Adoption Policy (Jan 28/04) If you are leaving the Establishment or have a pup you no longer feel like writing, please consider putting them up for adoption on the est_adopt community.Inactive pups will also be posted to the community once their 3 month grace period has expired. Your post should contain the following information: Subject line: Pup's name. Please put this in the subject line to make it easier for people to navigate through the community. Pup name: [Your pup's name here.] Ties to other characters: Any close friends or lovers; people prospective players will have to contact in order to get that character running again. Est member: Yes or no? Top/Bottom/Switch: Again, just a little information to tell people what made this pup different from any other pup... Defining characteristics: See above. Anyone interested in keeping the character running as-is? In other words, do other players who might have ties to this character want to see him or her come back into the Est with backstory or personality intact, or does the new player get full creative control over the character when they adopt him or her? Contact for more information: Leave your contact info and your preferred method of hearing from people here. Any expression of interest must be conveyed to administration so if you are putting an e-mail address here, ask that the prospective player cc admin at jennandanica@gmail.com and jack.c.whelan@gmail.com. Otherwise you are responsible for ensuring that admin knows about the possible adoption. Administration requires a writing sample (for current players, just a referral to another pup's logs; for new players, please contact admin) and retains the right to approve/reject potential inquirers. This provision must be included. All adoptions must have the express consent of administration but this is generally a formality. Player retains the right to approve/reject potential inquirers. This provision is up to you. If you would like to have some say as to who adopts your pup, put it in. Adoption Rules: Once a pup is put up for adoption in the est_adopt community, the notice must stay up for one (1) month from the date of posting. At the end of the month, you may reclaim your pup or extend the adoption by another month. And so on. During each month that your pup is up for adoption, you relinquish all rights to the pup's played character in the Establishment. If you decide you have made a mistake in putting your pup up for adoption and there is any expression of interest shown during the period, it will be up to admin to decide whether the pup stays with the original player or goes to the player expressing interest. Do NOT take the original notice down. An adopted pup should have an ETA note which reads "[pup's name] has been adopted as of [date]" or "[pup's name] has been reclaimed as of [date]". Considering Adoption? There are many other pups available. Administration maintains a list of all previously played, inactive and wish list pups. New Transfer Policy All internal transfers of pups, that is, the adoption of a pup by one current player from another current player without the posting of an adoption notice, must be approved by admin. Approval is a formality. The fictional BDSM club/organization known as "The Establishment" is an original creation of Ruth Gifford (the creator). The RPG establishment exists in a universe entirely separate from those of Paper Umbrella, Metropolis, Paradise and any other RPG. Permission has not been granted by the creator to any other RPG for use of the organization, its subsidiaries, properties, rules, regulations or practices in any game, except in sockpuppet journal entries and logs which were created when said sockpuppet was associated with the RPG establishment. Any reference made to an Establishment club or organization in any other RPG is not accepted by the creator, administrators and/or players of the RPG establishment as referring to their club/organization, and as such, has absolutely no bearing on anything in the RPG establishment universe, including the club/organization and its members. The creator, administrators and players of the RPG establishment do not accept that any reference made to an Establishment club or organization, or any club/organization based upon "The Establishment" club or organization, reflects the true nature, policies and/or practices of the Establishment club/organization as portrayed in the RPG establishment. | |||||||||
