Heroes of H-Mansion
Daniel Lau, that guy who does all those Junji Ito scanlations, has been posting scans of a comic called (loosely translated) Heroes of H-Mansion:
"Basically a whole bunch of Marvel Comics injokes and cute caricatures.
Done by Gurihiru, a Japanese artist team best known for their work on POWER PACK, it’s a very irreverent take on the Marvel Universe, if the characters all lived in the same apartment building.
This is not to my knowledge a licensed Marvel Comic in any way. Even in the original dialogue, the actual names of characters are meticulously avoided. It appears a Japanese fansite of American comics called Planet Comics commissioned the work and it stopped updating around two years ago. Still, there’s around 30 comics to get through. You can check out the original site here."
There are a ton of cameos, in-jokes, and friendly neighborhood interest free loans. Recommended for fans of the Marvel Universe and non-fans of the Marvel Universe.
