Katie is ROCKING the lightsaber! ^^

I'm so glad that her school are taking positive action and don't have a 'If they'd hit her, well, THEN we could've disciplined them'/'meh, kids'll be kids - what are WE supposed to do about it' attitude. That's the best news of all. :)

I couldn't wear anything nerdy today because work has dress codes and all, but I'm totally going to wear my Batman sweatshirt tomorrow. (It counts as long as it's still the 10th on the other side of the International Date Line, right?)

I don't have any Star Wars-related clothing with me at the moment (and unfortunately, I outgrew my "Sith Happens" shirt a long time ago), but hopefully my wearing a Doctor Who shirt today makes up for that.

Damn it. I didn't wanna cry, but I couldn't help it. I might not be a SW fan - seriously, ewoks scared the shit out of me as a kid - but I'm so glad that she realizes that being different is good because it won't isolate you forever.
