We can now publicly disclose we have been under a DDoS attack the last two days, which is causing the site issues.

Well, at least we finally know what's going on. Still frustrating that I can't RP or post or read kink memes, but at least we know, and at least they're working on it as best they can.

So in the meantime...I dunno, I have a few ideas for what this post could be. XD Nostalgia party for old TV shows? Obscure fandom geeking? Shipping chat? Macro fest? Porn party? All of the above?

Street Hawk - part of "the trilogy", as I thought of it back then, with Airwolf and, of course, Knight Rider. The guiltiest of pleasures.

Just for fun, try calculating the forces on (a) the rider and (b) the tires when he takes an ordinary street corner at super-cycle speeds.

My engineering teacher at school used to ask those kinds of questions for fun!homework over half-term. From what I recall, the answer to your question is comparable to Rainbow Dash breaking the Light Spectrum only with 20% more shattered axels.

Pretty much. Mostly I'm thinking in terms of the grip strength required for Our Hero to hold onto the bike, and the bike to hold onto the road, both of which are probably on par with the strong nuclear force.
