shameless plug: SpaceVenture!
If you were using computers recreationally in, oh, the '80s and/or early '90s, chances are you played some great adventure games in that time. If you didn't, you missed out, but there is Good News! Yes, there is Good News for computer/iPad/Android tablet gamers of all types, even Mac and Linux users, because the Two Guys from Andromeda, the creators of the fabled Space Quest series from Sierra On-Line (helpful YouTube playlist for the uninitiated), have reunited and are raising funds to make a new SpaceVenture. That's right, soon you will be able to be a janitor having adventures and dying in weird ways IN SPACE in a brand new game!

"What's the catch?" I can hear you asking. Ah, yeah, they need more money: here's the Kickstarter. They don't have a lot of time left, which is why I am being sleazy and advertising for them; I really love my old-school adventure games and I haven't found anything like them in entirely too long, so I'm super-excited about the possibility of the Two Guys making a new one.
