Uhm, I know that someone posted today telling people what the community was and not to bitch about pictures of themselves and such and that overall, it's a community for fun, not something insane.

And there was other stuff too, telling people to grow up and stuff.

So. Maybe that?

That's just a regular journal (for some reason). The actual community is here and from the looks of things most of the members have just gotten JF accounts within the past 2 hours, leading me to believe most of them must've paid for the privilege.
So, while it's regrettable that unfunny, macro-abusing, SA-cliche-spouting morons have come to JournalFen, at least they're providing moolah for the servers.

Hm, I just clicked "create journal" on the sidebar there and it's asking for a code and saying you need to pay to create a journal right now. Is it possible someone actually PAID for cosplayfucks, cosplay_fucks, AND cosplayfcuks (or whatever)? Not to mention that BBQ thing? Are these guys eccentric millionaires or what?

They made the BBQ thing here too? Huh. Maybe free journals got turned off, becuse in one of the threads they talk about how account creation is on. So it may have gotten turned off recently, since it usually is on for only a few hours at a time.

Yeah, it's in on_san's user info, the BBQ comm. Of course it seems that THAT was TOSed from LJ as well, so I guess whatever the fuck that comm was needed a new home here too.
Frankly, I don't give a shit so long as they don't come in and track stupid all over the comms I'm currently on. I didn't read Cosplayfucks when it was at LJ and I probably won't now that it's here unless/until it gets wanked.

Hey! If they not trolling, I couldn't give a rat's ass if they're on JF or not.

Besides, if it is true that some members were not meant to harm anybody(I'm sure some are), then I have no problems with them mocking silly looking costumes.

I was a member at LJ and I'm a member now. I rarely comment except to say I like someone's icon. :P I'm a cosplayer and I appreciate good cosplay when they do post it there. I'm also a fan of seeing bad cosplay for tips on what NOT to do if I ever do characters. I use it for constructive criticism. I never go attack people through that.

Does that make me bad? Being a member? Probably a little. But I'm a member of a lot of wanky communities because they follow my interests. I try to be a peacemaker and add good things rather than bad.
