8:50AM - The List

As I drove to work this morning, I found myself mulling over Grand Wanks of the Past and thinking, "Gee, if only fandom_wank had been around for that. That would have ruled like a ruling thing." So now I'm curious. What wanks/flamewars/general fandom insanity do you wish you'd been able to report to the community next door?

Here are a few of mine:

• Laurie Haynes' ban of all S8-S9 mentions (except any and all mentions of Mulder and Scully's love child) from the xfc X-Files fanfic mailing list.
  
• Well, all of X-Files S8, really.
  
• Cassandra Claire v. FFN and the birth of FictionAlley.
  
• Cassandra Claire v. FFN Part II, Electric-All-Fanfiction-Is-Plaguerizm-U-Hippocrates!!!1one!-Bugaloo.
  
• The NC-17 and RPS bans at FFN.
  
• Aaron Sorkin v. Television Without Pity.
