Pimping this out as there are many creative types over here on JF, who might not have seen this. The nice thing is that JF is an LJ clone, so any design you work out over on LJ could theoretically be used here as well. :)

The LJ Reboot is a chance for users all across LiveJournal to rethink, revamp, and revitalize their LiveJournal layouts - in other words, to completely reboot their designs. Modelled incredibly loosely on the CSS Reboot, the </a></b></a>the_lj_reboot provides a framework for amateur, novice, and advanced users alike to redesign their layouts with a tangible goal to work towards: an LJ-wide "reveal" of all the new designs on February 1, 2006. </a></b></a>the_lj_reboot is a chance to think about designing all aspects of your layout, not just the ubiquitous header graphic.

5:53PM - Bah Humbug! parties

Note: Not intended to be wanky or start any fights. It was just an idea that I had, born of feeling annoyed by the stress of holiday planning, which I thought sounded fun and wanted to share with ya'all. Also, if it's not fannish enough, lemme know and I'll yank it from here.

Well, after over a year of debating whether or not to create a community devoted to Natalie Portman, naked and petrified and covered in hot grits tech_wank, I did.

Do I know what came over me? No, but it probably had something to do with the latest round in the match between Vi and Emacs. Or perhaps idiots on Slashdot.
