For you Harry Potter fans: hpfanficidol is a new challenge community that's just started up over on LiveJournal. I've been looking forward to getting this off the ground for a while now, and I've got some great judges who've volunteered to help out.

But it's no fun without lots of writers! So check it out if it looks like something you might be interested in doing. (Hey, if I don't get the word out then no one will sign up, you know?)

I'm hosting a Doctor Who Halloween meet up.

Time: Noon - ?
Theme: Bring your favorite scary serials/episode. Coming in costume (Doctor Who themed of course) is more than welcome and encouraged.
What to bring: Your favorite 'scary' or 'horror themed' Doctor Who serial or episode. Only two serials per person please.
"Entry fee": One bag of candy.
Other stuff: We need volunteers to bring things like paper plates, cups, chips, sodas, and other snack food. I will be making chili.
