10:46AM - Art scamming...
What Would Jesus Fandom-wankas Do?
That's what I keep asking myself. I've encountered a less than honest Dr. Who fan artist who is reaping the reward for art that is not what she says it is. Is it art? Hey - let the appreciators decide. But I cannot stand people getting kudos for something they didn't do like they said they did.
So what would you guys do? Every time I ever try to do something about this sort of thing it always slaps me in the face. I come out smelling like poop and the perpetrator comes up smelling roses.
But it really tweaks my melons in a bad way when someone behaves like this. I guess I get shitty because I hate seeing people get duped.
I'm also considering starting a community to report when people either scam with their art cause it happens far too often. Or am I just being too 1337 with the art?
ETA: I put this up just in case anyone mightn't know the difference. That got this crap off my chest quite nicely! :) Thanks for your advice! (I'm keeping an eye on this one in case it ends up in a wanksplosion!)

Does anyone know the name or author of the short story about a toy that sees three seconds into the future, and causes a light to go on right before you press a button? This causes a bunch of people to go crazy-go-nuts. And that's pretty much all I can remember, but it's a piece of trivia that's lodged itself in the back of my brain like a popcorn kernel in your throat.

I've recently discovered the wonderfulness that is Foxfire - much love. I vaguely remember someone posting about the various awesome things that Firefox lets you do, like be able to have multiple LJ accounts open at once and thus not have to sign in and out, but I'll be damned if I can find that comment. Can anyone help me out?
