3:13PM - ATTN: Harry Potter Slash Authors

I'm Kristin/Puff (creepy long-time lurker and occasional commenter, basically) and I'm here finally posting something. Hey hey!

So I'm a senior in college (Trinity University) majoring in Communications. I'm doing my senior Capstone project this semester, and decided to focus my research on the phenomenon of slash within the HP fandom in particular. I wanted to do slash in general, regardless of fandom, but since I only have a semester to do the project, there's seriously not enough time.

Aaaaaaaanyway, the real point of me posting here is to point you to the survey I made up for you HP slashers to fill out. I'm looking for as many responses as possible, so if you could please take the time (it should only take about 15 minutes, I promise) to fill it out, I'd be forever grateful.

7:14PM - Odd question about JF

I promise this is fandom related- just bear with me.

I enjoy fussing around with CSS and such on LJ. As I have gotten around to playing around on JF more I find myself wishing I could customizing my journal more. I've looked all around JF for some help in this but I've come up empty so far. I have a few questions as a result of my search-

1. Is it even possible for a free account to put up a background on the personal JF?

2. Is it possible for a free account to have layout like those made by users on LJ?

3. Are overrides from LJ usable on JF?

4. Is there any real benefit to having a paid account in terms of customizing?


I ask these questions because I would really like my JF to reflect my fandom interests more seeing as I use it almost solely for that.
