1:23AM - It was her nanny, right?
A former UK Conservative Party candidate who was censured recently for sending a racist email has said that she didn't send it: "I didn't. Someone else did. My email address is something that's used by my husband too. It's not my personal email account."
That's the "My dog ate it!" for the 21st Century, isn't it?
1:55AM - Supernatural vid wank?
I honestly had no malice intended because there's so much room for interpretation in vidding and I've been humbled by seeing some *great* vidders--I know I'm 'middle range' at best. Still, I wanted to discuss an aspect of Supernatural vids that's been popping up and sometimes not quite working for me personally: bringing in 'outside source' m/m sex clips.
Sometimes, seeing these sex clips seems 'random' and they throw me out of the emotional structure of the vid by bringing in such an explicit physical side. I kept thinking about it and I wanted to talk about it in an appropriate vidder forum. I really try to be respectful of the vidders... though, sometimes, I fail when I get a bit too giggly or whatnot and my maturity slips to that of a five year old, and I want to be honest about how a vid worked and/or didn't work for me. So, I posted my thoughts about 'Supernatural sex vids' and was told by flowerslilac "What nice fandom WANK you have created here."

6:43AM - CAPSLOCKERS: Bringing the Funny!
Apparently inspired by the recent elections (okay, probably not, but whatever), the members of ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small}
capslock_house have created two promotional videos for their comm that seem to be in an honest effort to get people to give the comm a shot:

I really don't think these are wankfodder. I think they are just really funny, and so far seem to be spreading a message of peace, love, and truce with the CAPSLOCKERS. Hey, got me to join the comm (well, that, and guilt for my tendency to tar all the members with the same brush when I happen to think several of them are really cool people).
