12:43AM - They Fight Crime! (once more!)

He's an oversexed shark-wrestling vampire hunter living undercover at Ringling Bros. Circus. She's a psychotic tempestuous former first lady in the wrong place at the wrong time. They fight crime!

The original They Fight Crime! generator has returned. Accept no substitutes, share and enjoy. :)

4:31PM

Okay, ignoring all the moral blahblahblah associated with it:

Did anyone get their free donation-encouraged financial blow gifts from Focus on the Family?

Because I think those bastards are on to me. Or maybe the mailman turned me in, what with the High Times and Curve magazine and Playboy and whatnot etc., etc.

6:15PM - Wal-Mart is Changing!

Wal-Mart is changing! It is departing from the rock from which it was hewn. The faith and love for God and His Word by Sam Walton, the founder of Wal-Mart, is being trashed before our very eyes. God blessed Wal-Mart because Sam Walton applied biblical principles to run his business. He never failed to give King Jesus the glory.

It's the single tear on the Wal-Mart smiley face that really sells it.

ETA: One protest group, though not, sadly, the same one as the link above, has called off their protest. Why, you ask? The recap goes something like this:

Potential protester: Wal-Mart supports gay marriage! And mandatory buttsecks! And is the Devil!

Wal-Mart: Wal-Mart "will not make corporate contributions to support or oppose highly controversial issues unless they directly relate to our ability to serve our customers." Translation: We intend to keep doing exactly what we were doing, which by the way never had anything to do with gay marriage in the first place, you morons.

Protesters: We win!

Current mood: OMGWTF

11:48PM - Help a Meme.

So, the original They Fight Crime generator was created by two friends of mine ...

Al says "In fact, it's been gone for over six months. And in the interim, a load of people who have basically done nothing other than rip off the original and remove the credit, have started to clog up the google listings for "they fight crime". And I object to other people thinking it's OK to steal Andrew's and my work (mostly Andrew's), remove the authorial credit, and (in some cases) make money off it via ads, when the original was free. So, if anyone fancies posting the link up in forums, blogs, LJs, myspace, with the usual "Here's a funny link" nonsense, and perhaps a few choice generated phrases, that'd be ace. If you felt like explaining the reason I'd like the link to do the rounds again, including words like "The original they fight crime generator is back", or similar, and generally encouraging people to send it about so that we get back to our fair place, that'd be great, too."
