6:57PM - My boyfriend's so cute when he loses faith in humanity
BF: Hey, what were you doing on the fandom_wank wiki earlier?
Me: I was creating an entry about "Do not mock my doctorites."
BF: Oh, right. What's that about, anyway?
Me: It was some Dan/Emma shipper's response to getting trolled. I guess she's a psychologist, and has a PhD, and someone was making fun of her and her credentials.
BF: What's a Dan/Emma shipper?
Me: Remember when I told you about Harmonians?
BF: Yeah.
Me: Dan/Emma shippers are like Harmonians +5. Not only do they think Harry and Hermione are destined to be together, they also think Dan Radcliffe and Emma Watson are madly in love but hide their relationship from the media.
BF: *blank look*
Me: So anyway, this woman --
BF: No, wait a minute. Wait just a fucking minute. We're not moving on yet. They think what?
Me: They think Dan and Emma have a secret, perfect love.
BF: That's crazy.
Me: No shit. That's why we mock them.
BF: No, I don't think you get what I'm saying. That's crazy. They should be locked up.
Me: Baby, they're not even as bad as the Domlijah tinhats.
BF: The what?
Me: *sigh* People who think that Dom Monaghan and Elijah Wood had a torrid affair but had to keep it under wraps because their careers would be ruined if they were revealed to be gay.
BF: But they don't really believe that.
Me: No, they do.
BF: They can't.
Me: They do.
BF: They're probably laughing at all of you for thinking they're serious.
Me: Oh, honey. Your faith in humanity is so cute. Anyway, this woman was insulted --
BF: WE'RE NOT MOVING ON! This is INSANE! I can't. I don't. I mean. ... WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM? They should be slapped. Is that wrong? Is it wrong that I want to slap them?
