1:42AM - two questions

1. What should I get a Star Wars geek for Christmas?

2. Where can I download Dead Like Me?

Thanks!

ETA: At [info]kadath's suggestion, I bought the Holiday Special on DVD from EBay. Thanks so much!

4:56AM - craft snark comm?

I know someone here will have the answer to this one. A while back there was a wank in the [info]craftgrrl community on LJ about a horribly decoupaged lamp. Mention was made of a snark comm that exists to snark Craftgrrl. I've searched high and low for that community and can't find it. Help?

9:03AM - *delurks*

So you know that game where you see how far you can hit the penguin?

Well this is like that, except you're hitting Paul McGillion's bloody, severed head. It also features some exploding squirrels that help propel the head along.

3:35PM - Own-horn-blowing is okay, right?

It occurred to me some of you might like the superdickery-esque webpage my husband and I run, Stupid Comics (a clever and insightful name, I know). It's been up about a year and a half now and has a fair-sized archive of the worst and the silliest the comic book medium has to offer. There's lots of other stuff on our site too, such as Continent of Lost Anime that Time Forgot.
(probably not fitting within the rules of this comm but I'll link them anyway since I'm here dept.: I also have original comics for other people to make fun of, as does my husband Dave. Consider this putting our money where our collective mouth is I guess)
Hope posting this here is okay!

11:25PM - Looking for a certain web comic...

...but I can't remember what it's called. I found out about it on GAFF (I think it was posted as an Antidote, but it was so long ago that I don't remember now). It was in two parts: the first part was about an Indian (by way of Great Britain) couple who'd come to the U.S. The man was a computer guy (I think) and had a weird brother. The couple had two kids (a boy and a girl). The weird uncle got the little girl kidnapped by a Satanic cult, but he managed to rescue her. The little boy made friends with a blond Christian boy.

The second part featured the kids all grown up. The two little boys are now gay and living together. The mom, dad, sister and weird uncle are all still around.

Does anyone know what this comic is called? Or did I imagine the whole thing??

Kittenmommy.
