Writing in-character, in-canon fics is plagiarism.
Rly. In the latest Sue report, Avatarsues quoted a review she'd found on a previously-featured fic: Anyway, this story is great, best one I've ever read by you! Thank god it's not like one of those average fics with everyone acting JUST LIKE THEY DO ON THE SHOW. I can't stand that kind of story, it's like plagiarism.
I LOL'ed. Thought you all would, too.
