7:24AM - xmas_rocks again!
xmas_rocks, a slash-fiction exchange for rockband fandom, is now live and open for business for the 2007/2008 holiday season.
The FAQ has been updated for this year and pairing nominations run now through October 11th.
We had some awesome stories written last year, and this time around I'd love to see some more folks sign up. Doesn't matter if you like classic rock, modern rock, or even those Fueled By Ramen guys--we're open to everyone so long as they rock!
(And if you can't stand LJ or having an account there, then you can still participate by following the instructions for email sign-ups and submissions).

Oh, and while I'm at it, check out this possibly leaked magazine scan of Rinoa showing off tons more flesh than she did in the first FFVIII. Yes, you read that right.
Already the gamer-filled corners of the Intertubes are creating huge long speculative threads about these developments, especially the first one. Meanwhile, I'll be over here dreading the upcoming Tokyo Game Show and cursing at Squeenix for milking the Final Fantasy cash chocobo while still not releasing Front Mission 5 in English.
ETA: The FFVIII thing is a Photoshop job. Someone at a gaming forum directed me to this, a wallpaper for the game Gate to Heavens. Still, the resemblance is remarkable, eh? In the meantime, the FFVII thing remains quite real.
