5:24AM - It's been a good week for making fun of movies ...

Joel Hodgson has come out of...well, I wouldn't call it hiding, just years of not really being all that visible, to announce a new project with fellow writers Trace Beaulies, Josh Weinstein, and Mary Jo Pehl that I would guess is going to be like MST3K only without the jumpsuits and the silhouettes and the adorable robots.

Interestingly enough, this announcement comes on the heels of an another one by the series' long time producer Jim Mallon that he is resurrecting those adorable robots with new preforming and writing talent in his own relaunch of MST3K.com. Interesting timing on his part, especially when you consider the rumors that Mallon didn't part on the best of terms with the rest of the cast and crew.

Needless to say that whatever happens, I am quite excited about it all. :D
