9:04AM - THE MADNESS BEGINS

Shrieking masses descend on L.A. for the 'Twilight' premiere

“We drove from the Bay Area yesterday, got in line at midnight last night, slept out here, took the day off work, and stood all day in order to fulfill a dream to take a picture or get an autograph from the stars,” enthused Cyndee Sauceda, 40, who works in a law office. “And if that doesn’t work out, it will all still be worth it if we get to touch Kellan Lutz or Robert Pattinson.”

10:26AM - Well, hell.

LiveJournal is down as it moves cross-country and Insane Journal isn't loading. Probably due to its servers becoming robust thanks to the extra traffic from LJ.

Don't fail me, JF! If I don't refresh something constantly I start to sweat.

OH GOD. Now Twitter is down, too.

C'mon, Internet, don't make me resort to Facebook for time-wasting purposes!

Also, any Gaia users around here? zOMG is lonely because I have no Gaia pals.

edit: Twitter and LJ are back, but the Gaia party's just starting. ;D I (jurijuri) just friended the whole thread! Hooray!

Livejournal went down at 11am EST as they are moving their servers to a data center in Montana. Current LJ status page

hey anyone know what's up with the skyehawke fic archives? i was in the middle of reading when POOF the site's down and the lj community doesn't have any news about it.


i mean, maybe it's just a matter of not updating an expired credit card for billing purposes, and it'll get fixed in about eight to twelve hours, but dang it's irritating as hell when you're in the middle of a novel (and one that's actually pretty well written, too! i think. maybe my memory is giving me rose-colored glasses) and can't continue because the only place you can find it is on the one site that's currently down.
