Remember the upcoming LJ advisory board elections?
Look who's nominated herself.
10:41AM - Pray for me.
Robert Pattinson is shooting a movie a block away from where I'm working right now.
For the past two mornings as I'm coming to work I pass a cluster of fans and papparazzi crowded against a police barrier across the street from a craft trailer. So far it's been calm, but I'm half-expecting a huge shriek to erupt from the street at some point because the fans have reached a critical mass.
2:41PM - A question
I'm not sure that this is the right place to ask this question, but I'm equally unsure that it would be relevant in any of the other fandom-related communities, so I apologize in advance if my question seems stupid and/or doesn't belong here.
Does anyone know the collective noun for vampires? I ask because the story I'm writing involves a rather un-cliquish group of mostly individuals and one romantic couple that began occassionally hanging out together after they all began frequenting the same small, isolated, abandoned town. Google isn't helping much and the only other term I've heard so far was 'nest' from True Blood, but that seems seems to imply a much more intimate relationship than I was hoping to convey. If anyone has heard any others I would be very grateful.
7:04PM - Damn fine news.
Kyle Maclachlan: "I have a crazy idea to bring back Twin Peaks on the net as five minute webisodes."
(He) admits the show's creator, David Lynch, won't be involved with the new version as he is too busy focusing on his initiatives to publicise meditation techniques.
MacLachlan adds, "David's focus is more on transcendental meditation now."
