2:13PM - Reflections on the passing of a roleplayer's mom

I'm not sure if this is the right comm for it, but this article by the resident roleplaying columnist on WoW.com was too touching not to share with people. He talks about how his mother's battle with cancer led him into roleplaying on World of Warcraft, and reflects on the subject now that she has sadly passed away. It's incredibly eloquent and I think a lot of the things he talks about are universal to online fannish sorts in general.

Considering this place is chock full of all kinds of RPers, I thought it would be of interest. Have kleenex handy, though.
