Yeah, I've been having problems connecting the last hour or so. Sometimes I get on, sometmes I can't.

The LiveJournal outage of 2004 was nothing compared to the Great LJ Blackout of 2005. I survived both of them. I whined a lot (as I was a paid account holder at both times), but I survived.

I'd think in summer, because that's when there are the most people, since school is out.

Well, the Great LJ Blackout of 2005, if I remember correctly, was in January. 2004's was much less of an event and during the school year, as I seem to remember being too busy to care.

Yep, 2005 was in January. I remember because I was at Ohayocon and the blackout was announced at a fic panel--everyone went WHAT? OMG LJ!

I did a while ago, but currently, the armed monkeys protecting the servers are telling me that there are no problems.

Of course, they're monkeys, so that's not much comfort. Someone could have given them some bananas or something.
