Just think, that imaginary baby would be ready to start second grade.
Too silly to be wanky, imo.

A pro-life blogger is upset about an upbeat editorial written by a woman planning to have an abortion.

The article was published seven years ago.

In The Onion.

Seventy comments so far. I like the ones encouraging him to track her down and give her what-for.

EDIT: Woooo, it hit the big time. In my defense, I didn't expect him to post again and say "Well, it totally could be true!" (Aaaaand comments.)

Wow. How does anyone know enough about the internet to have a blog, and yet not know about the Onion? Seriously.

...oh, I give up. I can't even get started on a coherent reply to this. It's like the Sarcasm Fairy stole this guy's grasp of irony, and possibly one of his reproducin' testes, while he was sleeping.

Ezekiel FTW:

Don't listen to these liberal pinko shmucks telling you that this is some sort of 'satire'. You've done a thorough and impressive job of debunking this Miss Weber bitch and those communist babykilling faggots know they don't have one single idea or argument that can stand up to your rigorous intellectual scrutiny. Their only hope now is to whine 'But we were only joking' like the crybabies they are and try to make you look like some sort of dumbass. Pay no attention! Real Americans can spot the truth a mile away, you mark my words.

Dude, seriously, you need to get news from a more reputable source. Try http://www.weeklyworldnews.com/

That comment was my favorite. That is, until I saw this one right after it:

And when Bat Boy performed the abortion, he found Osama bin Laden hiding just beyond the under-developed fetus (dialysis machine and all.)

Hee!

He's posted a follow-up in rebuttal to the people making fun of him in the comments to his first post.

He... still doesn't understand that the article was a joke. No. Not even with OVER 100 PEOPLE telling him the article was a joke. I refuse to believe anyone is this stupid. The blog must be a particularly long-winded spoof in and of itself. No one is this dumb.

And in your banner, is the sentence "We will end abortion through our unity and the Monthly Call for Life" a reference to a period? Serisouly, I didn't not know that the shedding of my unterine lining was actually a pro-life rally. I'll let my right-wing fallopian tubes have it later.

That's as far as I got in the comments before I started giggling.

Right?

lulz Onion.

I always have to sporfle whenever someone believes The Onion when looking at stuff directly on the site. Who names a serious, factual newspaper The Onion? One look at their site/articles should scream "PARODY" at deafening levels. (My dad delivers hard copies of it to people on his mail route and always stops to read it if he has time.)
