Just think, that imaginary baby would be ready to start second grade.
Too silly to be wanky, imo.

A pro-life blogger is upset about an upbeat editorial written by a woman planning to have an abortion.

The article was published seven years ago.

In The Onion.

Seventy comments so far. I like the ones encouraging him to track her down and give her what-for.

EDIT: Woooo, it hit the big time. In my defense, I didn't expect him to post again and say "Well, it totally could be true!" (Aaaaand comments.)

I'm pretty sure I remember people taking another Onion article seriously -- one where this middle aged guy was counting down the days until "Hermione" (not Emma) was 18. A certain portion of the fandom went ballistic at his creepiness.

Reader's Digest did a profile on JK Rowling, and there was an outraged letter to the editor a few months later. It cited an Onion article which I can't find right now. They were upset that RD would have a cover story on JKR when she gave an interview admitting that the series was just a way to expose children to witchcraft.

Blood orgy! (How do I not have South Park icons?)

The best part was there was a response to the letter printed directly after it, to the tune of The Onion is a satirical newspaper, not meant to be taken seriously. -Ed.

Wasn't there one that got sent around via email, translated, and then ended up back in a US paper as a real article?

Hmmm...I'm not sure, but given the globalized improvements to dumbfuckery made possible by the Internet, it pretty much has to be true even if it isn't.

And the rest of it was like "They are set in the 90s she'd be like 25 lol"

If she lives. *eyes the subject line of this wank*

She died in Book 6. It's true. Page 606. She was disguised as Dumbledore to escape te creepy, gropey attentions of both Ron and Harry.

You just spoiled it for me. I'm leaving the fandom. You'll miss me! oh, yes you will!

...

...

Do you miss me yet? I'm back.
