theonering.net is reporting that the quote from Zaentz in that Sun article is old and predates the split between Jackson and New Line. Linky

And the New York Times has an article where Zaentz says he was misquoted before, and this time sounds much more unsure: "“We would like to see it done, of course with Peter Jackson... But it’s a hard thing to do, when you feel you didn’t get the money you were supposed to get.”

So hataz, you may resume your gloating. The rest of us can go back to being sad in the corner. :(
