two questions
1. What should I get a Star Wars geek for Christmas?

2. Where can I download Dead Like Me?

Thanks!

ETA: At [info]kadath's suggestion, I bought the Holiday Special on DVD from EBay. Thanks so much!

During the "Dirty Santa" gift exchange at the company party, the Darth Vader Voice Changer Helmet was the most highly contested gift of the evening.

1. Starwars.com has an ornament of Vader building a Death Star out of Snow.

2. Mininova.org. Both seasons, in full, on BitTorrent. If the torrents are down, lemme know. I have some other ideas.

Edit, they're sold out of the ornament, but there's still a ton of neat stuff.

I read 1 as "Where can I get a Star Wars geek for Christmas"... *L* Was gonna respond with something along the lines of "I'd say check eBay, but a lot of times they aren't house trained."

A copy of "Christmas in the Stars" and a DVD of the Holiday Special from eBay.

I think that's what you get for a Star Wars fan that you hate with a burning, fiery passion.

1. I'd say the Star Wars Holiday Special, but I'm a masochist at heart and love B-Movies.

2. Someone else suggested what I would have (mininova.com).

Also, that icon is painfully adorable.

I like Isohunt for all my Doctor Who Torchwood completely legal public domain movie needs.

Yeah.

Seconding the Holiday Special suggestions. I got Darth Tater last year from my parents, which was awesome. Action figures of their favorite character (assuming they don't already have them)? Trade paperbacks of the comics (if they like them)? A lightsaber?

...Ewan McGregor with a bow?

I've gotten a lot of Star Wars shit for Christmas over the years, and I have to say that the most awesome thing was definitely the 12" talking Yoda. Definitely one of the most awesome SW toys out there, and easier to find than a 12" scout trooper on a speeder bike.

But I'd have to say that the Holiday Special is the gift that really keeps on giving. If you're anything like me and my family, it never gets old.

I second the Darth Tater, and there's also a Spud Trooper that you can buy. I know my brother found them at Toys R' Us.

I heard the Spud Trooper. I find it so morbid that his weapon is a little potato masher.

LEGO X-wing Fighter

At least that's what *I* would want :) That Star Wars rocks iPod cover is also awesome.

Star Wars and Lego would be a winning combination for me. In fact it's a good job they didn't make it way back I was young and into Lego big time. I'd have probably exploded from happiness/excitement.
