Shadowgate is a great puzzle/adventure game; it's fiendishly difficult at times with sudden deaths behind every corner, but the puzzles are mostly very logical.

(though I have to say I prefer the Atari version over the NES version)

Woe. This just reminds me of my fave game I used to play on the bro's NES. I think it was from 1001 games in one cartridge, but I can never remember the name. It was a blob that climbed a ladder and you fired cubes (with symbols on them IIRC) at a wall of other ones. The blob character was cute and yellow and only had eyes... Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

...Well, I'm dead. LOL. It's been ages since I'd played Zelda, though. :D I'll be bookmarking this so I can play from the lab computers which I think are faster and might not have that thing it was doing where it got all slow and pausy and staticy.
