Five Ways to End Harry Potter.

I have to admit, I enjoyed Damon Lindelof's bit quite a lot. And I sort of like the artwork.

I liked the spin on the old "Hermione is really JKR" ending (which I'd actually forgotten about).

But mostly I'm posting this to say "YAY RATATOUILLE!"

Remy is my hero. I really wish all the Remy toys I've seen so far didn't, y'know, suck.

The comic timing in that film is a thing of love and beauty.

Fun reading: a post about the film by Michael Ruhlman, friend of Anthony Bourdain and co-writer with Thomas Keller (who provided a great deal of technical help on the film) on Keller's cookbooks.

That is great! And he's exactly right. I saw a clip on YouTube where one of the people on that project (could have been Brad Bird?) said, "This film is by deeply creative people. And they desperately want you to know what that rush is like." And you DO know, watching it. I'm a student of graphic design, and this movie made me cry because it was like seeing every BIT of myself in that widdle rat. There are no words for its brilliance. ♥

Hey, that would actually be an ending I would like.

Cue Mary Sue wanking, etc..
...
Of course it isn't happening. Just because I like it. I know it.

/tinhat.

And by “things” I mean lots of people dead. And by “definitively tied up” I mean in excruciating ways that ideally involve lots of gratuitous explosions.

Is it wrong that I look at that and go: "Yes please!" Because I'm going to miss most of the wank (I'd say stupid vacation but VACATION! XD) and need something to smirk about.

I think I'm mostly just pleased at what this suggests re: the ending of Lost.

I don't think I've ever seen an episode of Lost. Everything I've seen/read about it just put me off. Ah well. I still have Who.

I've been pulling for the "rocks fall, everyone except Sayid, Hurley, Sun, and Jin dies" ending since about the end of S2, myself.

Am I the only one who is sick of the "Sopranos" Harry Potter ending? I've seen it done at least three times now (Slate, Keith whatshisname, and this). Sigh.

You're not the only one. I just posted something in my LJ stating that the next person to write such a spoof gets a smack upside the head.

Well, one of the alleged spoiler endings * Harry sacrifices his magic in the final battle and in the "many years later" epiloge there is some wondering if he maybe got them back* I came upon made me go: Oh dear, so much for no sequel ever. ;_;
