The Intertubez are broken and it's not Harry Potter's fault
So, LJ is down due to a power outage. While the servers here might be robust, they are still working better than LJ. We all know what this means:

Yesterday, my broadband was going down every twenty minutes, on average.

This morning, Probaords, where I have a posting board to hang out at, was down for a couple of hours.

This is a vast right-wing conspiracy to make me get work done, isn't it?

GIP and a question. I thought I was fairly internet savvy but I don't know why clearing your cache might help load a page faster. I thought the opposite was true (at least that what my pop-up warning tells me when I click on "Empty Cache").
