The purges will continue until morale improves.
Apparently ponderosa121 has had her journal deleted/suspended for some of her fanart depicting underage characters in sexual activities.

Another user by the name of elaboration has also had their journal deleted/suspended. (No reason is known at this time.)

Edit: LJ has become kind of slow and imaginarycircus has more on the purgings.

Edit II: ponderosa speaks, sharing the message she got from LJ Abuse.

Ugh, it really sucks that art isn't allowed, but fic of the same nature IS. (Or so I understand.)



I don't even know what to think anymore. Are we going to get into trouble for making sex-jokes about poorly done photographs of incredibly cute 18" dolls, now? Or for taking the ever-amusing (in a twelve-year-old-boy way) photos of dolls with their underpants showing?

When LJ changed their TOS, I had really hoped people would bother to change their old posts that went against it, rather than leave them up and cry out in righteous indignation when they inevitably got in trouble for them (Though Ponderosa's fans seem to be angrier than the artist herself). I'm not defending the TOS, I'm just saying... if you choose not to follow it, I'm not going to feel bad when you get caught.

Slowness on any and all of the journaling sites is likely caused by folks backing up their entire journals and/or uploading all of their old journal posts from a backup to their fallback journaling locations.

Yay for redundant fannish infrastructure! We're like mushrooms! With structural girders! :-)
